Goals of Resident Research

The DMC Orthopaedic Residency program places great value on research projects and initiatives. We expect our residents to obtain experience with Orthopaedic clinical research so they are better able to understand evidence-based practices.

Our residents develop research projects early in their residency and establish a timeline to completion by their fourth post-graduate year. We aim to establish high standards for the quality of research that we conduct and have created pathways for faculty, residents, and medical students to be involved in the process.
